The waters have receded and the sky's opened up twice. If you're in the snow belt then you are also in the rain belt. Allowed my ears to hear after the fields. I want to hear what wants to eat me before I see it.
Grateful to have access to true wildness. Even the bugs are more plentiful, active and hungry than in the district. True intelligence at work...its amazing. Haven't really even seen many bugs on the rr trail. That's because we are just too God Damn dumb down here.
