and ride back to pete's was in a blizzard. took its 85/86 back as it's more of a straight shot. lost the trail somehow in the drifting and blowing snow and ended up doing some "boondocking". i don't like not knowing where the hell i am and not knowing where the hell to go in the middle of east bum fuck in a blizzard. anyways...after some tooling around endless fields and farms we made it back just as the gas lights came on...all's well.
