Walk.
There is a small cross placed at deering pond. Perhaps marking the spot where the rail car went down in 1871 and where the kiosk for it will be placed? Didn't find any info on someone's passing there...just the rail car sinking.
I bet if I went and sat at that pond in the spring of 1871, I would hear the exact sounds of spring peepers I hear in spring today. That thought gave me an understanding of timelessness...which was not of thought at all...but of something else.
