Nice little snow run...very grateful to be out here. Saw a baby porcupine...very small, like the size of a cantaloupe and quite adorable, so I hung out with it a few minutes. I asked it if it was going to make it out here? It then mosied over to the tree that was there and started climbing as if to show me he was quite ok. Damn are they slow and slothlike. They move without an apparent care in the world...even this little guy that looked so vulnerable out here in the snow. Guess you could call that quill courage.
Life continues to bless me with precious gifts. Perhaps because I have slowed down enough to see them...like the humble little porcupine.
