Left steamy Beacon Hill, wondering about wisdom of long run. Exited T at Woodland to 10 degrees cooler and threatening skies. Regretted wearing new, unsullied shoes. Encountered Julie Merritt plus two and Eda on run. Things went well till I realized around Fenway that the clouds had returned. Sprinkles and lightning chased me home, but my shoes weren't soaked through. Decent run, but still plenty in the tank for tomorrow. 19%
