Did a lot of laps with the pull buoy and kickboard between my legs, and by concentrating on core rotation I was able to make it work. Neil was able to correct my urge to rotate using my kick (he scoffs at the TI method) by telling me to use the kickboard in shark fin position to feel the resistance when I rotated - it works.

I'm still not feeling very balanced; I don't feel like I'm floating or being supported by the water. I do think I've quited my legs down and I'm not kicking nearly as much. Still can't do more than 50 yards comfortably.

Tried to switch to breathing every four strokes. It doesn't seem to help with my breathlessness problem, but being able to get more strokes in without breathing is nice.

Was able to swim a couple of laps with 13-14 strokes per length. My stroke length is pretty good, I think. I just need to figure out this breathlessness problem, relax my legs, and get my legs up!
