A solid long run after yesterday's workout. I had to keep my ego in check during the first half of the run. I did not want to go too hard and put myself further in the hole after the workout. The second half was mainly downhill or flat and I felt a lot better so I went a little faster but still very controlled the whole run. A little over 2 hours but the guys said we were super close to 18mi so I just went with them. Followed it up with hips after then went to the team volleyball tournament. Man I love volleyball. Maybe not the best thing to do after a 2 hour long run but I've played hockey after races and was fine. I'll focus on recovery the next few days and I have a down week lined up.
