A quite slippery Frosty Cheeks 5k in Story City, with about 1.1 miles of warm-up and cool down. Weather was cloudy, icy glaze, 32 degrees. Started slowly, but Kathleen bolted so it took me 2.5 miles to catch her. So then I just stayed with her to the end, finishing together in 22:56. This was a good time, for the conditions, and good enough for her to be top woman overall (!), and for me to win the 10-year age group for men (!).
