My 12th Boston! Gorgeous day for crowds, best I have ever seen, thick to the end, incredible on Boylston! Tough day for me, because in spite of my best efforts to hydrate like a fool, taking Gatorade and water at nearly all stops, I still got dehydrated. Near 60 at the start, 68 or so at the finish, full sun. All I wanted to do was finish, and I did. Dinner at the usual Chestnut 75 last night, with Kathleen, who couldn't run this one because of her right knee bursitis (to go with her debilitating lupus :(....) and John Doebley, who felt fine and finished his 12th marathon in about 4:42. Nice trip, off to Kane's this morning to pick up donuts for my queen, from Kane's... Home on Thursday...
