Thank you for all of the welcome shout-outs! So we both earned Bronze medals (sub 11:00) as well as back to back medals because we did “the up” last year. This is one brutal, tough race. The elevation profile doesn’t do it justice. Man, what a tough course! Ouch with the cramping, for both of us after about 40 miles, crippling for me! I walked almost the entire last 25 k, fighting off horrible cramps eerily like last year. The amazing DQ finished 30 minutes ahead of me, also just like last year.
