Capital Pursuit, on a 32 degree cloudy morning with blustery 20mph NW winds, so this made the course both exceptionally interesting and challenging, with all of the extra clothes and fighting the wind uphill on Keo Way and west on Kingman all of the way to Polk. But Oh My, what fun the last 3+ miles were, coming down Ingersoll and Grand! Miles were 8:24, 8:32, 8:47, 9:06, 8:30, 8:33, 8:21, 8:09, 7:56, and 7:26, for a good workout and time. Loved the shoes, legs felt fine the whole way. Good confidence builder for a checkpoint for Buckeye in 8 weeks.
