I felt really good this race. Your comment at the beginning about pain being our friend helped me throughout the race. Whenever I felt sore, I just kept pushing through instead of slowing down. I really wanted to hit 21 minutes, so that was a disappointment. I felt like I was doing really good because I felt like I was passing quite a few people. I started out the race faster than usual. At first, I didn't like it, but I kept to it because I knew if I wanted to do better, I had to push myself harder. My hip didn't start hurting until immediately after I ran. But it was better than after the previous race.
