70F 92%H 67DP, on the Silver Comet. Had wanted to do 1wu + 17@11:00. but only averaged 11:14.4 for the 17. Funny that I ran out of steam at the same place at last time, right after I crossed the road after finishing the segment that has the golf course bridge.
Used Vitargo in the handheld and 3 e-Gels, one at mile 5, one at 8.75 and one at 15. Think it helped. Only took half a Multaq last night and took a full pill with me and took it as soon as I got to my car.
Didn't see the first runner until mile 13.3 or so, on my way back. But there were lots of cyclists. Seems the runners were wimping out because of the rainy weather.
Got rained on a couple of times, but not too bad. Got my feet soaked at the bridge next to the parking lot at mile 8.75. It was flooded and there was no place to get around the water.
#17 on RA YTD mileage.
FYI, got up at 0445 and left at about 0555.
