70F 94%H 68DP, The Bulldog Dash in Suwanee, GA. Went to bed after 2 2/3 glasses of wine thinking of marvelous feats of derring-do should I enter the Ironman Canada, but woke to a slightly spinning room. What was I thinking, drinking that much before a race! I usually only average 1 glass of wine per month. Sigh.... Did have a cup of coffee though that I usually don't do. Had nice weather, but as usual the hills destroyed my time. I managed to eek out a third place finish in age group and collected my third little cute bulldog shaped paperweight. If I could only figure out what to do with them. Maybe I need more pieces of paper. ;-)
My times are coming down though. My 5k paces for this year (in chronological order) are 10:51, 10:26, 10:04, 9:36 and 9:14. Still got a long way to go, but as long as I keep doing the work I'll get back there. I was # 93.
