75F 99%H 75DP At the Silver Comet, scheduled: LR 17@ 10:20, did: 12@12:19. Bad day in Black Rock. Legs were kind of dead after yesterday's race, but then I ended up with an afib problem. My HR was staying at a consistent 167 which is higher than my max heart rate of 163. I walked a bit, and even sat down for a couple of minutes but still couldn't get it back to normal. So, I cut the run short and turned around after about 6 miles. I was just doing a run/walk at this point. It got back to normal when I had about 3 miles left. First time I've had an afib issue while running in months. Met Judy who is also doing Chicago, targeting a 4:30, and ran with her until I started having issues. Sorry I had to bail out on her. Maybe we could have made some arrangements to run our long runs together. I'll be up there same time next week. Perhaps I'll run into her again.
