57F 67%H 46DP, at the Silver Comet for an 18 mile long run. Perfect weather -- gorgeous day. Not nearly as many people out there as I might have expected, but it is one of those god days -- Easter. I think I was cheated out of some distance by having used the 910xt instead of the 310xt. At the 9 mile stripe on the pavement, Garmin measured 8.94. It actually should have registered a bit more than 9.00 since I start a bit before the 0.0 mile marker. That probably cost me a couple of seconds per mile. Plus I didn't subtract time for a couple of small delays, like traffic, garbage disposal, and cat inducing.

Didn't run the previous two days, Friday was rained out and yesterday it was still raining a bit and had to pick up Dani Girl, so didn't bother with the run. Plus wanted to see how the long run would be with a couple of days rest and some decent nutrition.

This morning I had 1/2 cup of oatmeal with 1 cup of water, a chopped up banana mixed in, and a scoop of Carbo Gain. Had my usual cup of coffee. Had 2/3 cup of Cargo Gain mixed in my 700 ml handheld and took an e-Gel at mile 6 and mile 12.

Yesterday I twice ate an oatmeal meal, with 1 cup of oatmeal, 2 cups of water, 2 chopped up bananas, 2/3 cup of Gargo Gain mixed in as well as a scoop of chocolate protein powder. Also had a ham sandwich from Publix with half a ham steak added. Had three handfuls of almonds. Also had a rice with the usual 2.8 ounces with just butter and salt mixed in.

Not much of note for the preceding day, Did have a Publix sandwich with an additional 1/2 slab of ham steak added. Don't remember much of the rest.

Didn't get any unusual sleep. Just 7 hours or so.

#17 on RA YTD mileage.
