55F 84%H 50DP, The Vinings Downhill 5k. Went with Katie Roedel and met Tim Milam down there. A well organized and fun race. This race does sell out. There is an evil hill at about a mile and an eighth that killed my otherwise awesome pace. Katie and Tim both had PRs and my time was the best since I started having heart issues. Would definitely want to do this again next year. Got there an hour and a half before race time, but an hour would have sufficed, although an hour and a half wasn't too long. I was number 261. Only qualified for group D for the Peachtree. I'll have to try the Silver Comet 10k to get a better placement. I didn't hang around to pick up my thousands for my age group placement.
