Notes
Good race for the most part, I was pressing for the first 2kish but them found my spot and matched the moves that I needed to. Joe took the initiative and strung the field out after about 4k which split us into a chase pack of 6. After that I moved to the middle/back of that pack of WashU, Chicago (x2), NCC, and me. I waited in the back while the 1500 runners dulled it out up front until the Chicago guys took over at the 4 mile mark. They made a big surge but I was feeling ready to go so I simply went with them. Around the 1km to go NCC fell and wiped out of the pack so it was just WashU, and Chicago and Spencer Moon, and me. At this point I chose to take the lead and start building a large acceleration to keep NCC from attaching back to our group. I was also able to break off WashU and Spencer Moon, but the Chicago guys stuck around until about 350 to go I think. I was able to easily defeat them in the end, and I feel like the race was generally pretty relaxed. 6 men all region and regional Champs over Washington University and North Central College
