This was a hard workout!
My legs were done! I was shocked I could finish with a sub 8 mile. All day my legs were feeling the hurt!.
Plan was to run a fast 5k as a practice for Sundays Big House 5k. I was thrilled that my shins and groin didn't seem to be too big of an issue. Actual 5k time was 22:33 (7:16 pace). I definitely need to work on my speed more next year.
Then I ran 9.9 miles to "finish up". Plan was to run 8:30-9:00 pace and try and finish close to an 8:30 overall pace. I ended up averaging 8:20 pace but my last 5 miles I averaged 8:03 pace.
