initial plan was to run 18 miles. i thought about 6 miles at 9:00 pace and the next 6 miles at 8:30 pace and then if I had the legs...the final 6 miles at 8:00 pace.
Early on though i was feeling super comfortable and running close to 8:00 pace and then at mile 6 I realized I was running under 8:00 pace and it felt very easy (maybe because I ran super slow yesterday) so I decided to pick up the pace a bit and run 25k. I wondered if I could get close to 8:00 pace. Then I was running super fast but it wasn't hurting too had so thought about getting down to 2:01 or 2:02. Ended up just under 2:03.
It was sprinkling the WHOLE time and was a little windy and only 38 degrees (felt like 32). I was soaked by the time I was done but THRILLED with under 2:03
