my shins were hurting a ton. I ended up walking 2 or 3 times for each of the first 3 miles. At one point I stopped (and stopped my watch) and tried to work on the muscle on the front of the leg to stop the shin splints. It didnt help. The last mile I think I ran the whole time but it was a super slow pace. I'm hoping it was because of all the steps this past week on the cruise but we will see.
