goal was to run miles 2-10 at 7:45 to 8:00 pace and for average pace to be sub 8:00. I wasn't sure if I'd have the legs to do a 10 mile run this fast as it's been 4 weeks since doing a 10 mile temp run at speed.
my miles early on were fast but I couldnt hold on to the 7:30-7:40 pace but still thrilled to have 8 miles at sub 8:00 and 5 at sub 7:45.
