had really hoped to be able to run 12 miles at 7:30 pace but my legs felt kinda heavy early on...possibly because the hills were in the first 3 miles....possibly cumulative fatigue. I decided about half way though that my new goal was to run sub 8:00 pace.
The last half was a bit of a struggle and my mile times kept creeping up over the 8:00 mark and closer to 8:15. I told myself it would be a nice mental win if I could not only average sub 8:00 but also run every mile sub 8:00. HUGE mental win to finish strong!!!
