Notes
plan was to run easier pace to start and see how I was feeling. I ran 10 faster miles a few days ago but had 2 days of short easy runs so wasn't sure.
I started running in the dark on a gravel road outside of our Air BNB that the ELT spent a night in. I had to run with a flashlight to start since I started in the dark.
After a few miles, I wondered if I could continue to pick the pace up and get down to an average of 8:30 per mile. Then after a few more miles I wondered if I could get down to an 8:15 or 8:20. With 2 miles to go, I knew I needed my fastest 2 miles and they were my fastest, but was just 5 seconds over what I needed to be at do average 8:15.
Overall, a GREAT run!
