24 degrees outside and feels like 18. very very cold for me
plan was to run 2 easy miles
then 5 fast miles. I hoped to run at a 7:30 avg pace but figured I'd end up closer to 7:45 because of cold weather and not too many outside runs yet. I ended up averaging 7:28 for these 5 miles...miles 2-6 as I noticed mile 2 was going faster then I'd planned so I picked up the pace the rest of that mile and counted that as my first fast one.
the last 4 miles I'd planned to take it very easy and be closer to 9:00 pace but 8:30 seemed to be fairly easy so I pushed harder in the last mile to try and get down to an 8:00 avg pace overall (ended up at 8:01)
