Notes

300 w/the girls as they finished up their 1k, 5x300 workout instead of doing striders alone. Felt good. Ready to go for Saturday. Coach Renner thinks I am ready. Have to keep that mentality. Taking pressure off myself by putting aside the breaking 20minute goal for now and simply going for the 20:23 conference qualifying standard. Planning on following 200m splits for a 20:15 5k to give some wiggle room, and we'll see what happens. The splits have not been hard to hit in practice this week (felt like I was hardly doing workouts, not even kidding), so I am ready to feel pain when I get to the second half of the 5k, but confident in my ability to get there and do well.
