Notes

Much of the path was clear of snow today. As someone who has been hit by 2 cars in her life by a pedestrian, I don't like running on the street unless absolutely necessary. So I was happy and relieved to be able to run on the path most of the way. It's amazing how you start out jogging, moving but with much effort. Then, you really get warmed up and your stride opens up and you start to run, it seems nearly effortless. Once you have the momentum going, you can even cut across short patches of ice and snow with care and caution and still not lose that momentum. You have to look ahead and place each foot with care, but you find you can even take on longer stretches of snow without losing much momentum.

So much like business and like life. You'll come across hazards and cautions and they may slow you down and pay more attention, stepping outside your comfort zone, but you can do it! There's a lot to that whole "a body in motion..." thing!
