I'm disappointed, but it also doesn't surprise me. I had a great race yesterday, there is no denying that, but with the fact that we sat on a bus for a total of five hours and didn't get back until 11:30, it's hard to fight off those excuses for this race.
We got out nice, trying to hold on to Jorgensen the best I can until after two laps. My glutes started to lock up and I couldn't turn over. I had nothing. Everyone started passing me and I couldn't do anything about it. That's about it. I don't want this to happen at Conference. There, it would be my last chance to get a spot for nationals. I'll be ready to race.
