Goal at the start of the day was to try and make up the 20 miler I only ran 17 of last week. Okay, I ran those 17 on Monday, but still that was the goal.
What I did wrong:
1. Started too late in the day - was 25F when I woke up at 8 am so I needed to let it warm up, but got sucked into the paper and coffee.
2. Dressed improperly - needed only one long sleeve shirt instead of 2. I was expecting it to be a bit cooler than what it was.
So when I knew 20 was not going to happen I shifted my focus to helping T get a good 10 mile run in, which I accomplished. I still managed to log 44 miles this week, the most in a week for 2009 to this point.
