Notes

Went to a camp on Lake Geneva for the holiday weekend with a group of friends. I had heard a few days before that there is a path that goes all the way around the lake and decided to run it as a challenge.

It was an interesting run--paving stones, gravel, grass, dirt, bricks, asphalt--the trail changed every 100 ft or so because every property owner is in charge of maintaining their section of it. It was hard to run on at times because of tight corners, loosing the trail, going up and down steep inclines/stairs.

I didn't take the time to map it out but I posted a link in the event url that basically shows the route. It says 21.8 miles but it's not very accurate (plus there were parts of the trail that were out and made you run detours on the roads. I figure I was going slow (about 8:15-8:30 pace) and took a few breaks, so I calculated 9:00 pace for 3:29:00 and got 23.25 miles. Either way it was a long ass run.
