Despite lack of log updates I actually HAVE been running... perhaps 3-8 miles a day all at easy pace and a long run on Sunday.
I was happy with the race. My goal was to stay around 6:30 pace for the first 16 or so and try to run 2:50. I ended up sticking to this plan for the most part. Around mile 17 I started cranking a little faster but had to back off soon after. I think on a cooler day I could have kept building straight to the finish. I felt great until about 18, good until about 22, and a little rough from 22 to the finish. I definitely held it together though... no bonking this time.
Overall very positive experience. Thanks to NCC people in the crowd!
