Even the guys that beat me walked at parts, I managed to run the whole thing but was probably as slow as walking in parts.
Ran almost entirely alone; some guy caught me on a long down hill at about 6, but I crawled up the huge hill a mile later and some how blew him away.
When I hit the dam in the last half mile of the race I felt like a new man in a totally different run on a different day...I guess because I was finally on a flat hard surface.
Some guy ran 1:33; he and some other guys from Asheville that kicked my ass said they know Stu and Amber.
