7 second PR...finally something to smile about
ran consistently low 80s for each lap
was competitive from start to finish for once
started out conservative and ran harder in the later parts, but never really cut lose for fear of getting horribly mangled.
The water pit was actually a huge goldfish bowl. I don't think any of them got smashed.
