Warm day so I went to the Canal to get shade. Plan called for 10 miles at MP. I front-loaded them to avoid heat issues. One mile w/u then 10 at MP then 5 miles recovery. I was okay until mile 12, then heat got to me. Set Virtual Pacer to 9:05. 485' elev. gain/loss. Ran out of water and water pump was shut off so ended up dehydrated, which didn't help. Gu every 5 miles. Second one gave me cramps - nasty stuff (S'mores).
