Not a good race. The wind was 18-25 mph from the west, so it was in my face for the last mile and a half. I couldn't breathe so ended up walking part of the last mile. Face was frozen and I had an 'ice cream headache'. Also walked a bit in mile 4 when I stopped for water part-way up the hill. My VP was set for 8:15 and I was doing well for the first 3 miles. Then came a good climb, then the route headed into the wind. Even so, I ended up getting 2nd place Masters Female - $75 prize. Garmin gave it 332' elev. gain, 372' loss, which doesn't make sense since it gave me 450' last time I ran it. I forgot to turn off my watch, so I did a bit better than shown. According to the timing clock, I finished in 53:35.
