Hard run on a hot day. Tried to keep pace slow, but should have slowed it down further. I ended up walking a lot in the last half. I intended to do 12 or more, but was struggling at 4, so didn't even try to do the extra miles. Water at 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Sat for a minute to remove gravel from shoes, which gave me some energy for mile 9.
