PCT out of Kennedy Meadows, heading north. I started with a hike with Jim and Ben of 3 miles. They turned around and I continued another 3 miles, then turned around and headed back to the campground for almost 9 miles of slow running. There was a lot of elevation gain and some rocks that made it slow going. It was hot and sunny so I had to stop to cool off in the shade a few times. This segment had 1482' elev. gain. I stopped for a dip in the creek, then did another mile back to the campground.
