Good race at ISU today! Nothing spectacular but I wasn't feeling that great on the warmup and stuff. I mean, I didn't feel bad but I didn't feel like I had much turnover. Strides were tough as I felt like I couldn't switch gears at all. I really moved up well throughout the whole race and was able to avoid the clusterf*** that usually happens once we hit the 400 mark. Pretty much just passed people the entire race and really worked together with Tim, Roger, Weber, and Yonny. I passed the 5k in 15:50 which was slower than last year but ended up having a really strong part 3 and 4 which helped me PR! We tied Loyola but luckily Me(6th), Weber(7th), Tim(8th), Roger(9th) and Troy(10th) were all ahead of Loyola's 6th guy so we really put the hurt on them in the tie breaker. Besides a overly conservative part one, I'm happy with how I raced today!
