Solid 90 minute run with Lane today. Left from Naper and then wound our way to McDowell. Took the single path and out of all my 8 years of running through that path, today was by far the worst it's ever been. We were really crawling through that part. We were about 2.7 miles into the run before Lane realized he didn't start his watch. Once he did and we got off the single trail, we ran the last 10.8 miles at 6:28 pace average. Doubled back around the pond by Wheaton Warrenville South because we were looking for some water and a crapper. Last 3 miles of the run passed by rather quickly and it was really solid catching up with Lane! He's gonna have a great season!
