Wow this was a fun race! I was suprised by how good I felt considering how bad I was feeling all week. Went to the front with Root and some other kid who goes to Olivet Nazerine(or however its spelled) The overall legth of the course is 3.11 so its actually cool that I ran a fast time on a legit 5K course! Mile and 2 mile splits were about 2-3 seconds early but with the splits corrected I went 4:49-9:39-???-15:20. Obviously I slowed down near the end but I didn't feel like I was haha. Everybody had a good day! I was 1st, Root was right behind me in 2nd, Thompsen broke 16 to take 5th, Warstler was 6th, and Bobby was 10th I think with 17:02! Great race and good confidence booster :) 2nd fastest 5K I have ever run.
