Notes

Had 2 heats of the 800 as rest time which lasted for a max of 10 minutes before I stepped back on the track for the 2 mile. Goal was 10:00 or faster depending on how I felt. Truthfully I didn't feel recovered from the 800 race which sucked so I got dropped hard from the start. However, I didn't try to race this and just focused on having good form and running smooth when tired. Ended up passing a lot of kids throughout the race and finished strong. My number fell off during the race so unfortunately they have me listed as DNF but I saw the clock change from 9:59 right to 10 flat as I crossed the line. Had I raced this fresh, I truly believe I could have ran 9:25-9:30 which would be decent all things considering. Still, a good cap to the workout and for how crappy I felt today it was a step in the right direction.
