Notes

High School 3-part with Root and the high school guys today. Legs felt absolutely miserable from the start and hamstrings were shot. For the warmup, the first mile was real slow but we got into a nice controlled cadence once the tempo portion started. Root and I dropped everybody with about 1200 meters to go and even though aerobically it wasn't hard at all my legs just felt like shit. Took a quick piss break and then did 6 Tempo Hill Loops with Root. Treated it kind of like Huffman and just kept a steady pace. Joined the High School boys on their last one and really hit it hard. After wards did a short fartlek that was really just used to shake out the legs of 3x1 minute on, 2 minutes off. Really glad Root was there and I was glad the High Schoolers weren't afraid to challenge us on the last one. Normally, this workout would be alot harder but I guess this week is their down week. Oh well, I've had a solid last few days and the sprinting has trashed me legs. Time for some recovery and I'll hammer some real workout next week.
