Notes

Late afternoon workout with Travis, Root, O'Keefe and Ben. We had a good pace heading over to Herrick but my legs felt like absolute poo poo. It was pretty toasty out too so that made things a bit tougher. Workout was 10x2 on, 1 off but we ended up calling it early and settled for 8. Started out with Root and Travis for the first one and then after that a small gap formed that pretty much stayed the same between Root and I for most of the workout. Travis was hauling ass and I still thought we were moving fast so it wasn't a big deal. Workout was tough but manageable, although I kinda shot myself in the foot because I didn't see Root signal that our 4th repeat was finished so I kept going and was about 2-3 steps behind him before he took off again and I realized I had missed my rest, so essentially I ended up doing a 5 minute interval. I was kinda gassed after that and then O'Keefe caught me on the 6th. Form started getting sticky but I just held it together and tried to save up so I could finish the whole workout. Mentally was on course for doing 10 but when I saw Root finish the 8th I was totally ok with stopping so I did. Finished close to 20 seconds behind Root and about 8 behind O'Keefe, so not too bad for feeling crappy. Probably didn't help standing on my feet from 9:45-3 today but heck I'll take it, this was my first workout with other people in ages and it was fun running with the guys again. I can definitely build on this! Easy cooldown back to school, we got stopped by a shit ton of lights but that was cool with me. Good workout today.
