Notes

First official day of track practice, oh boy going to have to get used to going to bed earlier again haha. Team is still split since Nationals was less than 2 weeks ago so for today the guys and girls just had an aerobic run. Did drills with the team and then we got going. We were going a chill pace which I was totally cool with but then Jess and Jackie caught the guys so then we started going much faster. Winds were 18 mph with 25 mph gusts so certain parts of the run were annoying for that reason but overall it was good to get some more time on my feet and shakeout the shit from the last few days both running and eating wise. Ended up running with Jackie for the last half and we were going 6:45-6:50 pace for that and to be honest that really sucked for me haha. Glad that's done with though! Going to try and do a 3-4 mile run tonight and then do core! Goal is to do core M/W/F and then lift T/Th this week. Only going to be focusing on upper body since I'm still building mileage and my legs will be getting enough of a workout as it is.
