5K at Carthage! Went out pretty conservative from the start. Luke, Havey, Ferst and I were sitting in 3rd-6th right behind some Ripon guys. We let them lead for about 1000 meters and then Ferst and I took over. We then proceeded to switch leads every 2-3 lapsuntil there was about 1000 to go. Aaron started to take off and although I felt smooth and not really tired I was having trouble finding another gear. We had kept hitting 38 for our 200s and it was kind of hard for me to break out of that rythem for some reason. Tried hanging on to him until a lap to go and then I told myself that I had to at least stay connected. Then, with 100 to go, I got my 2nd wind (a little late) but I sprinted up and caught Aaron. I ended up passing him up by like only .5 of a second but i felt really bad cause I wasn't trying to make it be him who was leading. He was fine with it and said he actually liked leading but next time im gonna make sure he dosn't have to work the last 1000 by himself, sorry buddy :/ overall we finished and both felt like we had way too much energy left. Not bad for our first 5K indoors. We went 1-4 :)
