Notes
Very tough but quality long run today. I knew it was going to be solid once I pooped myself 3 minutes in. We ran to the bridge and ran over to Daytona Beach and then ran straight down the whole path till we got to the lighthouse. That area was actually really cool and shaded so I felt a lot better once we were in there. We had a pretty quick pace on the way out and actually picked it up even more on the way back. When we went down Peninsula Drive we really picked it up and kept rolling. Thompsen wasn't feeling it so he dropped off and ran on the beach instead. The heat started getting to me though after awhile and I almost threw up once we went up the bridge the second time. Root and Troy got away from me at this point while I was gagging but recaught them on the downhill and then we finished it off together. Once we passed Aunt Catfish the run became a death march but I managed to get through it. Really happy with this long run today, definitely a grinder with the heat and humidity.
