Decent race today, we got out pretty hard although it didn't really feel like it was that fast (4:40's low) after that I got caught in a Taffy Pull with Johnny right ahead of me and then Tim and Root about 30 meters or so behind me. I tried the whole race to catch up to Johnny but it took till the last 800 meters or so to catch up to him. I took the lead to try and pick him up cause he did all the work originally but Tim passed us with 400 to go and neither of us responded, legs just wouldn't change gears. It's only the first race of the season so I know that will change within the next week or so. Aside from the part 4, it was a pretty good race and a good starting point considering how rough this was. Got a few more races before the legs will feel good but at least this killed my indoor time from last year!
