Decent race effort today at the alumni mile! I went out in 4th pretty much and just tried staying connected to the pack. It felt super easy the first 400 and then I tried moving up a little bit with Tim at the 800 to catch Johnny. Unfortunantly, right as I was approaching the 5th lap, my Hamestring siezed up a bit. Nothing terrible, it just startled me a bit and then I lost my rythem. I guess I also cut off Tim before he made his move (my bad) and I just tried kicking it in. Janet passed me with 200 to go and Perez at 150. I fell off them but then was able to almost catch back up to them right before we hit the line. Really solid effort and 11 seconds better than last year! Just gonna watch this hamestring thing its kinda still bugging me after the race
