Fun low key road race just to get myself used to going faster again. A fleet feet guy was there who beat me at Chicago and so was the winner of the Burbank Half Marathon so I decided to take it out quick since I knew they were good. I think they didn't have the best of days because I ran the entire thing by myself and won by over a minute. No clocks on the course till the finish but I as told I went out in 4:52 so that was solid. Good rust buster and it was a nice surprise to win $50 dollars to Fleet Feet and a free pair of Saucony shoes! My family ran well too so all in all a good day :)
