Not a bad Race effort today. Since Dad or Tyler wern't running my goal was to just hang up in the front and get a good race scenario out of it. The first mile sucked ass cause it was uphill and really cold and windy. Brady and Willy broke away from Me at this point and then Spain and I worked together the rest of the way. Picked up the pace at random times throughout cause I was trying to focus on not settling, although with the weather it was kind of hard to change gears. Some U of C grad caught Spain and I with 800 to go or so but then we dropped him and then 200 meters later Spain dropped me. Was content with just holding that pace to the finish but I kicked a bit near the end cause Nick was catching me fast. Fun run, the 180 degree turns were a bit weird but they made the race feel more like a workout at Lincoln park. Hopefully I split this during my 10K in 2 weeks!
